Trekking amidst the lush vegetation of Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia
When the weather brightens up, many people love to be out and about in the open air where nature is at its most authentic. The area around Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala offers numerous opportunities to discover less well-known areas on foot with a choice between the sea and the mountains. Fascinating landscapes will open up before your very eyes, from the Mediterranean maquis stretching from the coastline to the hills that frame the panorama, to the dense woods of oak, cork oak, holm oak and chestnut trees overlooking the interior. Diaccia Botrona is an impressive wetland, where you can spot pink flamingos on its waters or admire the flight of a bird of prey.
